This award is instituted by the Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, vernment of India. Given the high priority placed on the development of Exports from India, the Ministry has conceived of this award scheme to recognize the contribution of Indian Exporters and encourage their efforts in meeting this important national.

There are 13 catteries under which the awards are presented. These include one ‘All India Basis’ catery for the largest exports across catteries and 12 Product Specific catteries ranging across Textiles, IT, Chemicals, Gems etc.
